I have owned a 2 bedroom @ Blue Ridge Village in Banner Elk for 20 yrs! It has become a family tradition since I live close enough family can come spent a night or two, or maybe just take the hour drive for a get together & cook out. We all love the time we have together! When the kids were still at home, they could swim until midnight, putt-putt, paddle boat, basketball, tennis, fish - participate in all the daily activities & most everything was free! I could relax, read a book, take a walk or whatever!I have even stayed by myself & never felt afraid at all. We had security so I felt safe! Daily activities was a learning experience for us all - making jewelry, pottery, T-shirts, picture frames, or playing bingo. Now, my daughter & her husband own 3 wks, but continue to visit when I'm there! My son still loves it, his family comes ever chance he gets, as well as his two sons! My son & son-in-law also use the ski slopes close by!
My mother enjoys the cool, fresh mountain air...
