Resort News May 2011 Resort News Building 11 has reopened, and building 5 is currently under renovation. Please excuse the construction and if you have not yet seen a renovated unit, we will be happy to show you one. The Activities Department and the Fitness Center have been relocated to Building 4 where Housekeeping was previously located. Please note that the indoor pool area will be closed from April 11 until May 27 for replacement of tile and installation of a new spa. We apologize for any inconvenience during this time, but we are certain that all of our owners and guests will be pleased with the results. November 2010 Resort News We are happy to announce that we now have free wi-fi internet throughout the property and in all units. Please note that the laundry facility previously in building 4 is being renovated to house our Activities department. The new laundry facilities can be found in the Maintenance/Housekeeping building. Renovation/Refurbishment updates: Unit renovations and refurbishments began in July of 2009, and to date they have been completed throughout buildings 7, 10, 30 and 24. Renovations in the units in building 3 are currently in progress with an estimated completion date of December 2010, when renovations in building 11 are scheduled to begin. If you haven't yet seen our newly renovated units, we will be happy to show you these great improvements on your next visit! November 2010 Resort Activities Please join us in the Activities department this fall for plenty of family fun! We are happy to have a couple of special events and activities coming up. Join us for our Halloween Party on Saturday, October 30. If you're spending the Thanksgiving holiday with us Nov. 24-27, be sure to join our special guest Fred Frawley who will enchant you with Storytelling and Folk Songs. The activities below will be offered throughout October and November, but be sure to check with the front desk upon your arrival for the most recent activities schedule.

Resort News Renovations and refurbishments in buildings 24 and 30 will begin in January. Several months ago we announced that the Blue Ridge Village in Banner Elk, N.C., is undergoing renovations in BRV II units. The renovated units feature new cabinets, appliances, furniture, flooring, flat screen televisions, granite countertops, remodeled bathrooms and energy-saving thermostat systems. These units are a step up in luxury and comfort for all of our owners, members and guests who visit the Blue Ridge Village. Renovations in one 3-bedroom unit, three 2-bedroom units and four 1-bedroom units (eight units total) in building seven are complete and open for occupancy. Renovations are currently underway in nine units in building 10 and should be complete by the end of August, including six two-bedroom units and three one-bedroom units. Two units in building 11 - a one-bedroom and two-bedroom - are open as models if you wish to preview the renovations on your next visit to the resort.
